Hi Boac, it might help if you advised where you are based as some programs are country configured. I am based in Hammersmith, West London. With programs such as basic and wordstar, you really need the manuals that come with them. Therefore consider buying complete application sets.

They are not expensive. Go for Wordstar Professional (version 5 or 6), not Wordstar 2000. I do not have experience of the Amstrad version, which is almost certainly cut down. Digital signage software linux open source. The site I would look at for them is ebay/computing/vintage.

Not sure what you are looking for in the way of graphics programs, but Supercalc does include some graphic facilities to display a spreadsheet's data. Good Luck - Keep us posted.

Hi Boac, am not sure where Jolicloud (above #4) is coming from, unless this is the same laptop with no hard disk and 720k 3.5' floppy (or floppies?) mentioned in your other post. Amstrad software may be ideal as their first basic cheapo pc's came with one or two floppy drives only.
